El 3,5" BayExtension es un adaptador de montaje metálico que permite el montaje de hasta dos discos duros 2,5", o dos SSDs 2,5" en una bahía 3,5" de la caja de un PC. No importa si se trata de una bahía interna de disco duro 3,5" o una bahía para floppy (disco duro flexible) o si son lectores de tarjeta, el 3,5" BayExtension es compatible para todos ellos. El adaptador de montaje también es compatible con la mayoría de sistemas de bloqueo rápido. No hay ningún problema para instalar el conector SATA en el disco duro o SSDs ya instalados, la parte inferior del adaptador viene reducida por esta misma razón.
